Synopsis
A news story goes viral, but it is a hoax forged by young people in collaboration with Artificial Intelligences (AIs) to test what is real and true in this century, questioning who controls the narrative: the ones who created the news, the AIs, or us, who believe in it? The search for truth may lead us into a labyrinth of uncertainties…
Context
Films resulting from the 1st edition of the AI Mini-Workshop for Audiovisual, held on February 26, 2025, which explored the critical and practical use of AI in audiovisual production and research. The workshop covered everything from scriptwriting and visual planning to post-production and narrative analysis, resulting in experimental projects created by participants.
The activity was part of the audiovisual program of the Social Research Laboratory of the Department of Sociology at USP (LAPS/USP) and was conducted within the context of ongoing research on AI and Audiovisual, in partnership with ICNOVA, LAPS, and FCT.
